09.12.2014 Notice to passengers

We inform all customers that in light of an expected disruption caused by a National General Strike in Italy on dec 12th, from 10::00HRS through to 18:00HRS, flights nationwide may be delayed or cancelled. It is suggested to contact its own airline to seek updates and information for possible re-routings/rebookings. Thank you.

02.12.2014 Notice to passengers

Due to the holidays, we recommend all passengers to get to the airport as early as possible to allow ample time for check-in, security and boarding formalities. The Airport of Bergamo Orio al Serio, in line with all carrier’s regulations, urge all customers to reach the airport at least two hours before the schedule time of departure.

On Monday 4 August 2014, the new arrivals area was opened on the ground floor of the passenger terminal.

07.07.2014 Wizz Air announces Chisinau-Milan Bergamo route

Wizz Air announced a new route from Chisinau to Milan Bergamo which will commence on 2 November. The new service will initially operate 2 times a week, on monday and Friday. Tickets for the Chisinau – Milan Bergamo flights are already on sale and can be booked on wizzair.com with fares starting from as low as €39.99 (one way, included taxes).

30.01.2014 New liquid screening system in airports

A new EU Regulation 246/2013 will become effective as of 31st January 2014. This new regulation concerns the screening of liquids, defined by the acronym LAGs (liquids, aerosols and gels), and will be applied to all EU airports and those in Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
