Dal 30 ottobre in vigore l’orario invernale

Novità importanti sul fronte dei collegamenti dal nostro aeroporto, in coincidenza con l’entrata in vigore dell’orario invernale dei voli di linea. Il volo giornaliero con l’Aeroporto di Mosca Vnukovo, operato dalla compagnia aerea Pobeda Airlines del gruppo Aeroflot con B737-800 da 189 posti, passa a 11 frequenze settimanali, per effetto della doppia frequenza giornaliera operata da giovedì a domenica. Aggiunti i voli in arrivo da Mosca alle 9:30 locali del mattino con decollo alle 10 verso la capitale russa. Confermate le frequenze pomeridiane che prevedono, nei giorni di lunedì, martedì, mercoledì e sabato, l’arrivo alle 14:55 locali e la partenza per Mosca alle 15:25; giovedì, venerdì e domenica arrivo alle 17:15 locali e partenza alle 17:45.

Ben sette le novità nella programmazione invernale di Ryanair, che introduce i collegamenti con Danzica (tre voli settimanali: martedì, giovedì e sabato), Amburgo, Norimberga e Praga (giornalieri), Ostrava (bisettimanale, giovedì e domenica), Timisoara (tutti i giorni ad eccezione di mercoledì e domenica), Nis in Serbia (bisettimanale, martedì e sabato).

Blue Air, che ha annunciato l’apertura del collegamento con Liverpool dal 26 marzo 2017, aumenta di una frequenza i voli con Bacau, che diventano quattro a settimana (lunedì, mercoledì, venerdì e domenica).

La compagnia aerea Wizz Air, che opera 18 collegamenti con l’Aeroporto di Milano Bergamo, introduce il nuovo aeromobile A321ceo (già operativo sulla rotta con Bucarest) sulle destinazioni di Sofia (a partire da febbraio 2017) e Varsavia (da marzo 2017).

Confermato il nuovo collegamento con l’aeroporto di Nizza, operato da APG Airlines con un turboelica Beechcraft 200. I voli hanno frequenza bisettimanale (venerdì e domenica) con partenza da Nizza alle 17:30 e arrivo alle 18:35 a Bergamo alle 18:35, da dove decolla alle 19 per atterrare a Nice Côte d'Azur alle 20:05.

A new area set up at Milan Bergamo Airport, dedicated to the excellence of Lombardy and national Italian cuisine. This space, which has been symbolically named “Italy Loves Food”, is set up in the lounge area named 'Ilario Testa' inside the departures terminal.

It is an innovative format within the travel retail industry, particularly in terms of the sale of the take-away products, dining and the promotion of gastronomic culture. Through this, Milan Bergamo Airport is becoming a showcase for exclusive and high-quality speciality dining, represented by prestigious chefs and restaurateurs. This is a calling card that aims to turn passengers in transit into opinion makers, allowing the food and wine to take them on a trip to the cities and regions of Europe served by Milan Bergamo Airport.

It is a dissemination process that is further transforming the mission and function of the airport, which is the third largest in Italy with over 10 million passengers per year.

BGY Airport handy to visit The Floating Piers

Milan Bergamo Airport is proposed as a point of entry to enjoy the unique experience of “The Floating Piers” built by Christo, the artist's work that connects the shore of Lake Iseo with Montisola, the largest of the lake's islands d 'Europe, reachable on foot from 18 June to 3 July 2016.
